Suggest Treatment For Breathlessness, Swelling And Pressure In Intestine

Question: My name is Michele I am a 57 year old woman with a serious past of ulcerative colitis I had a total colostomy done with a reversal of my ileostomy in 2000. I have been suffering from severe strictures and fistulas. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy in Feb 2015 but cancelled it due to loosing my health insurance. I have been suffering terribly with severe pain, dehydration, unable to eat, unable to hold food down. My small intestine is bulging thru my stomach walls at least 10 to 12 inches. I am unable to pass any loose stool. I will have insurance, hopefully, in December 2015. I just was wondering if there was anything you could tell me to do to relieve the swelling and pressure in my intestine. Honestly it is so swollen I have difficulty sitting. I also have been experiencing shortness of breath, which I believe is due to my intestine putting pressure on my lungs. I just hope you can tell me something that can
give me even the slightest relief since tomorrow is Thanskgiving. My medications I am on is Fentynl Patch 100mcg and 25 mcg every 72 hours, tramadol and neorontin. I am prescribed these by my pain management dr. I also had a total hysterectomy in 2008, along with my gallbladder removed in 2001. Sorry my facts are not in order, its just a lot to remember and I am suffering so much. Thank you for your time and I will await your reply,

Brief Answer:
Please give some more information.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Can you please mention if you have J-pouch or it was removed during the second surgery? Do you have mucosa left in the rectum? Do you have loop ileostomy or there is just one tube of intestine? Where exactly do you have fistulas? Can you please attach a photo of swollen intestine (ileostomy)? Do you have any blood and mucus in the stool?

I`m looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards.
