Suggest Treatment For Bald Spot On Side Of Child's Head

A few days ago I noticed my 5 year old had a dime sized bald spot. It has a few hairs growing out, what could it be?

Hi and thanks of the image.

I have reviewed it and this shows an area with less dense hair. Looking closely doesn’t show any disease condition such as fungal infection that might explain this. It is normal during growth to notice such spots. However, most of them would soon get repopulated and all would be fine. I suggest you monitor this only at this time and only seek further medical care if this persists or increases in size.
