Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Your symptoms do not seem to be related to any heart attack.

Considering your age, the location of the pain, and the fact that you have had similar symptoms before with normal ECG and blood work, I would conclude that your symptoms are not related to the heart.

Gastritis or gastro-esophageal reflux could mimic all this clinical situation.

Anxiety could play an important role in this clinical scenario too.

For this reason, I recommend taking an anti-acid or Omeprazole.

If your symptoms are not relieved by these drugs within an hour, I recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and some tests:

- a chest X ray study
- a resting ECG and cardiac enzymes
- complete blood count.

If all these tests result normal, you should consider anxiety as the main cause of your complaints.

But, before going to the ER, I recommend you to take an antiacid or Omeprazole (or Zantac), close your eyes and focus on your breathing. This will help calm down anxiety.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Wishing good health,

Dr. Iliri
