Suggest Treatment For Anxiety And Mood Swings After Missing A Dose Of Primolut-N
Question: Had thyroid and was on ginette 35 for 2 years. Stopped both medicines after marriage. Had regular period for 1st month. Didnt had periods second month. Pregnancy tests negative. Consulted gyne. She put me on Primolut -N 5 mg for 5 days and thrice a day. I just missed one tab. Didnt had periods till now. Its been 5 days over till the day medicine was stopped. ... having lot of anxiety and mood swings

If the pregnancy test is negative, then the pregnancy is ruled out.
Primolut N is given to induce withdrawal bleeding.
Usually the withdrawal bleeding occurs within 7-10 days of stopping the drug.
Missing one tablet will not alter the efficacy of Primolut to induce the periods.
I will suggest you not to worry and wait for another 5 days for the periods to come.
Mood swings are suggestive of premenstrual changes.

I wanted to conceive as soon as possible. I think i m not ovulating bcoz of pcos or some other reason. Do i need to consult infertility or gyne can induce ovulation. What is the permanent solution to this problem

Since 2012. Dosage is 25 mcg. Cyst in ovaries are seen at times and at times not. Conception is imp. For me. Please suggest

Treatment for conception in PCOS patients is done stepwise, thenext step to be followed when the previous one fails:
1. Ovulation induction with drugs
2. Intrauterine insemination
3. In vitro fertilization ( IVF)
However, the treatment for infertility should be started only after one year of unprotected intercourse.
I will suggest you to be stress free, and start taking folic acid tablet daily as taking it in preconceptional period reduces the risk of congenital anomalies in the fetus.

In 2013 i was diagnosed with pcod and one enlarged ovary. Waiting for normal conception is tough. After that gyne put me on ginette 35 for 2 yrs. I stopped that medicine immediately. Delay in conception wont be good for my married life. Please suggest what should be done so that i ovulate at least
