Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, your symptoms don't seem to be related to any cardiac disorders.

Have you experienced any palpitations lately? These could be a sign of cardiac arrhythmias, which could lead to cardioembolic events (could explain the bowel ischemia).

The tingling and numbness in your feet may be a sign of polineuropathy.

Regarding the ischemia found in your bowel it may be related to several disorders (cardioembolic events, small artery disease, diabetes, gut imagination, etc.)

The missed periods seem to be related to the beginning of menopause (based on your age). The raised blood pressure may be related to this situation.

Coming to this point it is important consulting with your attending physician and performing some tests to investigate for the possible cause of uncontrolled hypertension and tingling in your limbs.

I would recommend performing:

- resting ECG and cardiac ultrasound
- nerve conduction study for possible polineuropathy
- abdominal ultrasound by your gynecologist
- blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate, thyroid hormone levels, fasting glucose, blood electrolytes, vitamin B12 plasma levels, kidney and liver function tests).

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope to have been helpful!

Greetings!

Dr. Iliri
