Suggest Remedy For Delayed Period After Taking Emergency Contraceptives
Question: I got my periods on 25th November and I get periods on time as such. But I had protected sex on 21st, 24th and 27th December after that I had unwanted 72 each time. But I haven't got menses yet. Please help me with the same.

In my opinion as you have regular cycles always the 21st,24 th and 27 th comes under safe period only.
you had done protected intercourse only.Above that you had unwanted pill also .Unwanted pill is 88% effective.So considering all these the chance of pregnancy might be very less.
Usually unwanted pill is needed when intercourse done in unsafe period.
Unwanted pill is nothing but progesterone hormone.At the time of menstruation both estrogen and progesterone hormone levels drop down completely.But as you have taken unwanted pill almost at the time of periods many times it might have caused hormonal imbalance resulting in delayed period.
So relax the delay might be due to hormonal imbalance only.And stress regarding periods might also delay the periods.
I suggest you not to take unwanted pills so frequently unless it is very necessary.Because they might cause hormonal imbalance and make your cycles irregular.
Practicing protected sex in safe period might be useful mostly without any sideeffects.
You can wait for the periods upto 2 weeks.Mostly by that time or earlier you might get the period.If no periods even after 2 weeks you can do a urine pregnancy test and consult a gynaecologist for further course of action.

Medicines are available for postponing the period but that too are to be started 2 to 3 days before the expected period. But here as we are not able to predict the period due to hormonal imbalance so we cannot use them. So relax. And wait for the period.
