Suggest Remedies For Lump In Penile Shaft While Treating Rhumatoid Arthritis

Question: Hello, and thank you.
about 8 months ago, I noticed a small flesh colored lump on my penis shaft. A week ago I saw my dermatologist to ask if it was a wart, he did not think so, but we decided to biopsy it, and the results came back that it was a wart. The wart was so small that it was completely removed for the biopsy. My dermatologist did not appear concerned. Given that I have had no other visible warts, is it likely that more warts will manifest or that this wart will recur? I am on prescription drugs for Rhumatoid Arthritis ((hydrochloroquine, sulfasalazine, and methotrexate) will this increase my susceptibility to hpv? My dermatologist does not seem to clearly respond to this question. I would appreciate your help. Thank you !

Brief Answer:
It can recur but is rare.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir,
It is possible for the warts to recur.
It is unlikely for this wart to recur, however there is a chance that it grow a little bigger after the biopsy due to an inflammatory reaction.
As for the Rheumatoid arthritis(RA), you are on immunosuppresive medicines and there is definitely an increased chance of contracting these warts due to the drugs you are consuming. But do not worry.
They can be treated with modalities like Podophyllin resin, Cryotherapy and definitely excision.
Take care and do let me know if there are other queries.

Thank you very much.
one more question....
I have been in a monogomous marriage for 30 years, is it likely i have had this hpv since before that relationship, and i only developed the wart as a result of the medication?

Brief Answer:
That could be a possibility.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It is quite unlikely for that to happen though it is possible.
HPV can stay in the body for long before manifesting and thankfully not a very dangerous virus at that. It is more problematic in females. Therefore, you should take whatever treatment determined best for you. This will be in the best interest for the both of you.
Do not worry much.
Take care and I would like to help you with all efforts if there are any further queries.
All the best.

as long as i have your attention, and thank you for your patience, is the fact that i only had the one wart these past nine months an indication of less liklihood of more; or that that my immune system is actually fighting the hpv infection?
