Suggest Remedies For Burning Sensation And Pain In Scapula While Treating Neck Arthritis

Question: Left scapular burning and pain. I seem to be able to mitigate it somewhat with change of posture. Not sure which came first: scapular pain or neck pain. Question 1 : I have had MOHs surgery on left ear and temple area and am concerned that it has gone deeper into the tissue. Superficially, my skin looks good and is clear of lesions. I also have a lot of stress in my life, am menopausal and have very dry skin. Is there a blood test or other lab work which can test for this complication? The other element is a fall I had two years ago. A lot of attention was given my head due to huge contusion (never passed out). Later i finally convinced my doctor something was wrong and I had an MRI which showed my brain was okay but that I had arthritis in my neck. (She said to tell her if I ever got tingling in my hands/which only happens if I bend my joints when I sleep) I also saw two separate chiropractors for a rib on the left which also was involved and affected from the fall. Neither was ever able to fully adjust it so it continues to bother my comfort. Over time, it seems to be getting more out of alignment. Question 2 : could there be nerve impingement which could be agitating both neck and scapula?

Brief Answer:
Kindly upload neck MRI Report. Needs medication, lifestyle management

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Do you have Diabetes ?

Do you have weakness of the upper limbs ?

Usually that particular surgery won't cause the burning sensation over the scapula.

Pinched nerve can definitely cause burning sensation on the upper limbs and scapula. This must commonly occurs in the cervical spinal cord.

You will need an MRI of the cervical spine to look for the nerve pinching. If you have already done MRI neck, kindly upload the report for my review.

Avoid bending the neck forward or lifting weights. Apply hot water bag to the painful regions and cool water to the area of burning sensation. You can take Tablet Pregabalin 75mg at night for the burning sensation.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
