Suggest Dosage For Duphaston And Progynova While Undergoing Infertility Treatment
Question: Hello,
urgent please reply ; on the 21st July was the 13th day of my last period. On this same day, in the afternoon i checked with 'Clear blue digital ovulation tester' and found i was ovulating.
furthermore, i am suppose to start taking Duphaston (because of irregular period) and Progynova ( because i am preparing for ivf ) on the 16th day of my last period which is 23rd of July. My fear is, what if i get pregnant as i ovulated yesterday and won't the Dusphaston or the Prognova affect or abort the pregnancy? i was ask to take this drugs because of the IVF i am about to do next month August but i am zoo scared to take them because of the ovulation i had.
Please what should i do? if at all i get pregnant , will this drugs affect? please reply .

Duphaston contains Progesterone. It improves the receptivity of lining of uterus for embryo. Progynova contains estradiol. It builds up and supports lining of uterus. So both help in improving chances of implantation. So don't worry. Start taking them. If you conceive Progynova is not going to harm the baby.
Do pregnancy test after two weeks. If it is positive, your doctor will stop Progynova and continue with Duphaston.
