Brief Answer:
Explained.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
B long is a vitamin supplement.
Dosage is one tablet per day for 3 months.
It just boosts your health and well being.
THere are no side effects as such.
It is prescribed to people with deficiency of that vitamin ( B 6 ).
It is not used to regulate periods, it has no role with that.
Hyponidd and M2 tone are ayurvedic medications with no proven allopathic scientific evidence or use.
All the best

My daughter 17 yrs of age had regular periods till XXXXXXX 20 th..she is taking her 12th board exam now in March ..however after XXXXXXX 20 th she has not had her periods..it is a close to 47 days today..She suffered similarly before her 10 th board exams. She had her first periods at the age of 12 yrs -8 months...from then she was having her periods regularly till her 10 th board exams ..when she missed her periods for around 90-100 days..She was 15 yrs of age then..I let her be so for three months then got frightened , consulted a Gynaecologist , who prescribed Meprate for her...she had her periods then before the Boards..She was having it quite regularly till last January when I took her for a check up..they diagnosed that it is PCOS...after a couple of consultation with gynaec I also started a diet programme with XXXXXXX XXXXXXX ..she slightly on the plump side..I wouldn't say she is fat...however during the diet programme she lost around 8-9 kegs and came from 69.5kgs to 59 kgs..the weight loss did her good..it was a 6 month programme which we discontinued April 2014.. During this weight loss programme she was also prescribed many tablets..some allopathic and some Ayurvedic, ..they prescribed several vitamins ( allopathic) of which blong was also given .They prescribed her M2 tone ( which she is continuing to take) ..and Hyponidd..( one month only which she discontinued) ?.she was fine after that ..she had her last period on 20 th XXXXXXX , 2015..however she is not had it after that..I wonder if every exam she has , she gets stressed up and misses it what is to be done?,I continue to give her M2 tone and last 10 days have been giving her Blong both morning and night..M2 I'm giving two tablets at night..last two days have started her on Hyponidd one tablet pin morning and one in nite...what is to be done for this situation?..I'm giving M2 tone with advise of gynaec.who says M2 does only good on the long run..Please HELP

She is also doing 30- 40 mto walk at least five days a week.

Brief Answer:
delay in periods is stress induced

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for the update.
Yes, it is likely that the delay in periods is stress induced.
Stress can lead to delay in cycles, and it is happening around her exams every time, so it is the most likely explanation.
What is her height and weight ?
There is no need to give her these medications permanently.
To diagnose PCOS, following should be done -
FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, OGTT, DHEAS, Free testosterone on day 2 of periods.
Pelvic ultrasound scan.
If she is having pCOS, best is to maintain ideal weight and take Metformin tablets regularly.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
Yes, please do that.

Detailed Answer:
Yes please do that.
She is a young girl, most hormonal issues resolve with time, and as she gets older and mature.
There is no need to give her excessive medications.
