Stomach Pain, Negative Pregnancy Test. Have Abdominal Hernia. Not Sure About Bowel Blockage.

Question: i'm 44,female,a bit overweight,my height 5ft4ins.i do have double abdominal hernia,lower right area, i had surgery in 2005 with the first repair+a mesh,2 years ago i had an ultrasound scan finding another hernia, i take levothyroxine 250mcg fur underactive thyroid.i am 5 months late without a period,i cry at times in tense burning pulling burning pain,pain so bad i crease up holding my stomach,crying,afterwards i get the pulling dulling sensation, this has got worse since last christmas, i did visit my doctor,had a pregnancy test came back negative,my doctor did have thoughts of a bowel blockage,but now not so sure,reckons it could be my hernia playing up again or weak abdominal wall, my pain keeps recurring every so often,so bad i cry with agony, please help me.

lately this pain is all round my navel in one place which radiates slightly lower to my scar line slightly lower where i had my last surgery in 2006 when i had my first hernia repair, is this pain related to my late 5 months late period?or is it a link that i have had been sterilized in the early 1980's?or could it be a bowel blockage due to history of hernia's?

Thanks for posting your query.
The pain in your abdomen around the navel is not likely to be due to the delayed periods. It is also not likely to be related to ligation you had in 1980.
Bowel blockage does present with pain abdomen but is associated with other symptoms too like vomiting, constipation, etc.
The cause of pain is most likely due to the scarring from prior hernia surgery. Excessive scarring sometimes causes partial obstruction causing such pain.
You can get an MRI abdomen done to find out any structural abnormalities.

i do get sickness feeling and pain follows after i've eaten,tho i haven't much an appeite and i quite often feel sick, i did have heavy bleeding in my urine 3 times,my urine test came back negative,yet tho i did have a blood clot,it seems strange why my pain is in one place on the navel and left off the stomach,have lately become constipation for 3 days yet now i'm the other way,why am i still bloated?

Thanks for writing again.

Bloating is common symptom in patients with constipation. Taking bisacodyl or liquid paraffin will help you in passing stool and will relieve bloating.
XXXXXXX blood in urine can also happen due to drugs like aspirin and platelet related bleeding disorders apart from urinary infection and stones. Normal urine reports rules out infections.

I suggest you to get a detailed examination done by a physician to determine the exact cause. A proper treatment can be suggested based on clinical findings and test.
