My dad has got sever acidity problem from past 5 yrs he has been taking several medicines for the same like panum l , rantac, sumpraz d and many antacids. He burps a lot and his upper abdomen pains a lot and it bulges out after eating. Doc adviced ro do endoscopy which did not rule out any main reason it said hernia in the food pipe and doc said that is very minor and does not require any specific treatmeant.
Since he has lot of pain in the upper abdomen whcih offen radiates back at the center and he keeps complaining of the pain and acidity a lot doc adviced for CT contrast. But i ak worried with lvef of 30% should be go and do contrast ct scan i read on the internet it affests the heart and blood vessels and may make the dysfunction more

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

After going through the medical details provided by you I can understand your concern for your fathers health and I would like to tell you that as his ECG and cardiac enzyme reports were normal so there is nothing to worry for from cardiac aspect.

From the symptoms detailed by you it’s clearly his anxiety and stress which is creating trouble for him. I would like to suggest you to make him start doing yoga or meditation or take him to some good yoga centre as that a very good stress buster, if that also doesn’t work out then help of a psychologist should be sought in order to combat his anxiety levels.

For now you can take any of the three medications which has been prescribed by your treating doctor as all are relatively safe when taken in a prescribed manner.

I hope this information will guide you properly.

Kind Regards

But we are worried as this has not happnd like post the heart surgery it was an acute mi and high emergency he has been put an stent. Doc had told us it s not a normal angioplasty but its by gods grace that we could save him as 80% of his heart has been damaged.

But its been 11 months he has not faced any chest heaviness soo we are worried why it is so.... he has taken trympoter 5mg today

As he was taking revitroil for 15 days and he stopped suddenly can it be due to the same.

Also why his pulse rate has suddenly increased

Brief Answer:
Hello again

Detailed Answer:
Too much or stress and anxiety are known to cause symptoms similar to that of heart attack.

All these medications are kind of anti depressants and they should not be stopped abruptly without consulting your treating doctor as it can lead to panic episodes.

Although the pulse rate of 90 is well within normal limits for adults but yes again any sort of stress increases our heart rate easily.

Kind Regards
