Is Pregnancy Possible While On Mirena Birth Control?

Question: this is her boyfriend. my girlfriend has been on mirena birth control sense january I believe. we have sex a lot. I was reading mirena prevents pregnancy does this mean as long as its in her she can't get pregnant?

MIRENA is a hormonal IUCD( intrauterine contraceptive device). It is absolutely true that as long as it would be inside it shall act as a contraceptive as well just like any other IUCD ( COPPER-T, MULTILOAD).
It is being advised in women who desire control of heavy bleeding during menses and birth control as well.

so in other words theres 100% chance she WONT get pregnant with it in? I know her periods have stopped sense she got it (she's happy about that)

Hello,
Her periods have stopped due to the progesterone effect of MIRENA and the device itself acts as a contraceptive IUCD and shall prevent pregnancy. The fact that periods have stopped also indicate that she is not ovulating and in absence of ovulation she cannot be pregnant. So she is pregnancy safe.

okay so when she goes to take the Mirena out will everything go back to normal like she will start ovulating again and period Will come again? how hard will it be for her to get pregnant?

MIRENA is quite safe and it usually takes 1-2 cycles for menses to regularise and also ovulation to restart and attain complete fertility. Mirena ( NORMAL) has validity of 7 years AND the XXXXXXX has validity of 5 years.
