Is It Possible To Get Pregnant By Having Intercourse On The 6th Day Of Period?
Question: doctor i.need ur advice and help.immediately.
i had sex with my partner 17 november(6th day of my periods)..it was my 1st time and i did bleed a little....my husband had used a condom.and after sex we saw the semen inside the comdom.Aftr about 30 to 40 hrs later i took an.unwanted 72..then again on 23rd november i did bleed scanty..as if spotting..and thr was.urine infection ..bledg lasted just fr a day..it stoped on 24th mrng..then as days passed,i did nt have my menses..i had conducted a urine pregnancy test on 4th jamuary in 2 patholabs and results r negative..thn i showd a gynaecologist she adviced me to take meprate..i startd taking meprate on 13 january and.my course finished on 17jan..bt its 20th january and i havenot got my periods.
today morning as i feared amd again did a home pregnancy test,within 5mins i saw one line amd the 2nd.line was.blinking..after 10 mins the 2nd line was nt seen...Im reaally confused that wat is wrong??am i pregnant??i even.had little white discharge during middle..nw thr is.no.more white doacharge..and my husband n i did nt have sex after nov 17..pls cpnfirm me wat is the prob..am i pregnant?im really very tensed..i have no such vomitting signs..bt yes i feel.reaallyy odd coz aftr taking meprate i feel my stomach has swollen..and thr lil inconvinience.

There are no chances of a pregnancy in your case because -
1. Having intercourse on the 6th day of periods is safe, ovulation is impossible at this time.
2. You used a condom which was intact, as checked by you.
3. You took unwanted 72 in addition.
4. You took a test on the 4th of January which is quite reliable since you did not have sex after the 17th of November.
Regarding the confusion of the repeated test, it is possible that you misread the results.
If you wish, you can repeat a test again, and upload the report ( photographic image of the strip ) to me, so that I can again reassure you.
As such, based on your history, I am 100 % sure that you are not pregnant, it cannot be.
The unwanted 72 can lead to menstrual delay by itself.
Also, after finishing Meprate, withdrawal bleeding occurs within a week.
Since you have stopped on the 17th of January, you will bleed anytime uptil the 24th of January.
SO do not worry, wait for a few days.

1}mam my last dose of meprate and ycyst forte was on 17th january..will it be fine to take the blood test on 24january ?
