Brief Answer:
not emergency but need appointment to see doctor for treatment

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

This would be a stage 2 blood pressure.

Stage 2 is the higher stage. A person is said to have stage 2 if either the systolic (top reading) is greater than 160 or the diastolic (bottom value) is greater than 100.

Because the bottom value (diastolic) is 107, it would be stage 2.

It is not likely that you would have an acute event (heart attack or stroke)at this very moment with this value but it means that you are at risk of one of these occurring if these readings continue.

This means that though you do not have to go to an emergency center (unless having chest pain , shortness of breath, palpitations, stroke symptoms- decreased movement on one side, numbness etc).

You should however, consider making an appointment to see your doctor as soon as possible for review.
He or she will recheck the blood pressure at least twice to get a general idea.

With a stage 2 blood pressure , you would need medication in addition to lifestyle changes- diet and activity changes

The medication is to reduce the blood pressure and the chance of a heart attack or stroke occurring.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
