Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

The normal range for TSH in someone your age is 0.5-8.9

So 0.09 means that your Thyroid Stimulating Hormone is below normal. This happens when a person's thyroid gland is making a higher than normal amount of thyroxine.

TSH and thyroxine work on a feedback loop. When there is a high level of thyroxine, the pituitary/hypothalamus decrease their production and output of thyroid stimulating hormone.

There is some reason that your thyroid gland is making a high level of thyroxine (hyperthyroidism). This may be Grave's disease or an overly productive thyroid nodule.

Most likely your doctor will now want to get a thyroid scan, and also measure your level of thyroxine (T3 and T4 tests).

Please let me know what further information or clarification I can provide.
