Is Cyclafem A Safe Birth Control Pill?

Question: I need a cheap version of my birth control pill, I switched employers and will be without insurance for 90 days. I called my Dr. office and she stated that if I found a generic version of the everyday pill 7/7/7 I think, she could change the prescription from what I am on now. Which is Cyclafem 1-25-28 and just pay cash at the pharmacy. I just don't know any generic birth control names.
