How often anti-HCV screening tests should be done to detect HCV?
no need of repeating the test
Thanks for putting your query in hcm.
I understand your concerns. There is no need of repeating the test for HCV agian unless or until there is any risk of transmission. Risk of transmission is when blood of your parents comes in contact with your blood. Till then there is no need of repeating if once it is negative.
I hope I have answered your query and this will help you.
Wish you a good health
Can I go for HBV & HAV.
no need for rechecking if you dont have high risk behaviour
There is no need for checking them again unless you have high risk behavior. For hepatitis B vaccine is available so you should get vaccination for that. Hepatitis A does not cause chronic disease although vaccine is also available.
I hope I have answered your query. Wish you a good health. If you dont have any further query then close the discussion and rate the answer.
high risk behaviour means which make one prone to these infections
Welcome back. High risk behaviour means activities which can make one prone to get these infections like having multiple sexual partners, unprotected sex, iv drug abusers, on haemodialysis, multille blood transfusions etc. I hope I have answered your query. Wish you a good health
