Brief Answer:
Most probably after 2 months.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Congratulation!

Thanks for believing me about your health concern.

Usually period will resume after 2 months after delivery if she is not breast feeding her infant.

If she is breastfeeding her baby than period may resume after 2 months or it will resume when she gave up breastfeeding.

In her case hypothyroidism may also cause delayed period.

During this period, she should use some type of contraception because chances of pregnancy are there.

Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more.

Good luck.
Regards
Dr.Richa
