How Can The HBA Virus In The Liver Be Removed?
Question: Incidentally I am found to be Hepatitis B positive (HBSag lab test +).
1) This Tablet to my knowledge only stops the replication of HBA virus in liver. How do we actually go about removing the virus completely.
2) Is there any home food or remedy I can do to protect my liver and give it more strength etc.
3) Got HBSAg test done for my wife and kids and thankfully they are negative. Is there any HBA booster vaccination that can be given to my wife for further protection?
Also she delivered a baby 1 month ago, do I need to get this test done for that new born too ?

Ans1 yes the medicine which yiu have been prescribed or other oral antiviral dectease the replication but only In few cases virus do disappear. There is one injection approved for hepatitis b is interferon which has some specific indication. Interferon do have higher chance of disappearance of virus. You should discuss with your doctor regarding this.
Ans2 there many food items and medicines which make liver stronger but have no proven role. However coffee do have proven neneficial effects
Ans3. If your wife is not immunised giver her vaccine 3 doses at specified interval.
Since your wife is negative then there is no need to check in yiur newborn baby. Just vaccinate him also.
