may need additional medication

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Not sure which medications you are currently using to help with fever.

Acetaminophen which is the same as paracetamol or tylenol can be used, need to make sure that you are using enough. An adult should use at least 1g , 6 to 8 hourly.

If the fever is not due to dengue or one of these mosquito borne illnesses, then medication such as ibuprofen or cataflam can also be added to the acetaminophen so they can work together.

Other aspects of fever treatment involve--(1)use of cold/cool liquids
(2)dressing coolly if possibly
(3)tepid sponging with tap water, not cold water
(4)fan therapy
(5)treating the specific cause of the fever if possible
