First of all thankyou, the type of pain I have is aching and pricking right at the back and as well as at the side of near my lower abdomen. Regarding the mensuration I am already 51 and i don't have such discharge, I too had a problem through out my left part of body, my left side of nose remains dry, and whenever i take a cold drink, i feel my left side of my throat is paining and one more thing is that few days earlier i had a diarrhea and vomiting once. Regarding the blood in my stool, previously only once in a year or twice it used to go, but this time i had it for four to five days continuously and i don't have constipation problem, but my bowels are not in time and it is not proper, my stools are usually something like a liquid paste. I guess i have a problem in my anal canal, but do you think it can cause so much pain around my back and lower abdomen. Please suggest what shall i do and whom shall i consult.

Brief Answer:
Ultrasound abdomen & pelvis & stool exammination

Detailed Answer:
HiXXXXX,
Thank you for the reply. After analyzing your reply in detail, I feel you need to get examined by a gynaecologist first. I also suggest you to get a scan of pelvis & abdomen to know the exact pathology (mainly to find out what organ is involved- i.e. ovarian or large bowel) and stool for microscopy and blood.
Depending on the scan you might require further investigations like Colonoscopy after consultation with a surgeon.
It is not the anal canal problem, but the large bowel or rectal problem which is causing all these symptoms. Kindly consult your doctor for confirmation.
Please ask if you have more questions. If you are satisfied, please make sure that your ACCEPT my answer so that I receive credit. Good luck!!

Thankyou sir, for your suggestions, i wanted to ask whether it can lead to a serious problem, as yesterday i visited the doctor and he says that i dont have a piles but instead i have a sore at the anal canal and have asked me to do the whole abdomen scan and he also doubted for the kidney infection or stone. So do you think that the pain may be due to the kidney infection. Please suggest because i am scared of doing any surgery and all. Please suggest what shall i do.

Brief Answer:
Scan & blood investigations will decide treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX
Kindly do not worry, it could be a minor problem also. So kindly follow your doctors advise and get a scan done, it will almose clarify all the major doubts. I also suggest you to get blood investigations like complete haemogram, ESR(erythrocyte sedimentation rate) to rule out any infection, and urine routine-microscopy to check if there is any urine infection and stool examined for blood.
According to your history of blood in the stools I still feel it could be related to rectum or large bowel problem or just gastroenteritis. I am not in the favor of kidney infection as you are not having any urinary complaints or blood in urine (hematuria), there is remote possibility os kidney or ureteric stones which can be picked up bu ultrasound.
I repeat please do not get scared, I still feel it could be just a MINOR ailment. Only investigations will guide the further management.
If you do not have any further clarification you can close the discussion. Kindly rate & review my answer. Wish you good health.
Regards,
Dr Arif
