Thanks for posting your query.

It's good to see such cholesterol levels.

"Your Blood Cholesterol levels are well within normal limits".

Here are the normal recommended levels of Cholesterol:

Total Cholesterol: Less than 200 mg/dl.
HDL (High Density Lipoproteins), which protective for the heart: 60 mg/dl or higher.
LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein): Less than 100 mg/dl.
Triglycerides: Less than 150 mg/dl.

As per the above recommended levels, your Lipid Profile is within healthy range.

Should my total cholesterol level be at least 125?
Answered by Dr. Jyoti Patil 14 minutes later

Thanks for writing again.

Your Total Cholesterol level is absolutely normal. It is not necessary that total cholesterol needs to be minimum 125 mg/dl.

Optimum goal is to maintain the Total Cholesterol below 200 mg/dl.

I hope recommendations are adequate and helpful for you.

Wish you good health.
