No changes in autonomic nervous system.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using Healthcare magic.

I went through your query and understood your concerns.

Autonomic nervous system is basically controls involuntary functions in our body like heart beat , breathing etc, This system will be working continuously though your are sleeping. During sleeping Different wave patterns seen mainly in cortex area not in autonomic nervous system. During sleep autonomic nervous system is responsible for maintaining heart rate, variations in heart rate do seen in sleep because of changes in cortex(higher center) . But Basic heart function will continue during sleep.

Hope i answered your query. Feel free to ask further related query.

Thank you for your reply. I notice alot of variation of heart rate and spasming sensation when trying to sleep. Could this be going in during the day and I don't notice it, could it be related to esophegas. I have anxiety issues, could it be hightened at night. Thank you again.

Hi, thanks for follow up query.

When you are trying to fall asleep you will be conscious and you can feel your heart beat variations. but as you fall asleep your anxiety reduces and there won't be any effect on heart beat. Esophagus not going to affect heart beat you can sleep with head end raised to reduce hiatal hernia.
