Question: Can ureaplasma and mycoplasma cause urirhritis. I have been tested for everything else and is negetive.

How to you contract those bacteria and could they be dormant in the body for some time ? Also are notmally tested for or do they have to have a specific test ? I took doxycycline for 2 weeks wpuld that have been enough to cure it ? For some reason the doctors here in canada do not know much about ureaplasma and mycoplasma.
