Brief Answer:
Less chances of painless dental abscess..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Thanks for the query..

As per your complain dental abscess is a painful condition caused commonly due to deeply decayed tooth..
So a Dental abscess without any tooth pain has less probability..

So first of all I would like to know that do you have any decayed tooth in the upper jaw?

Was any x ray done if the dental Abscess was suspected?

Please revert back with answers..

Brief Answer:
Less chances of dental abscess..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome back..

There are very less chances of a Dental abscess and the swelling seems to be due to complications with the Sinusitis it..

But still I would suggest you to get a Panoramic x ray done so that an evaluation of your teeth can be done for further confirmation of diagnosis..

Hope this helps..

Brief Answer:
Looks like allergic reaction..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome back..

See as the swelling switched side then it is most probably due to allergic reaction only..

So my suggestion is to consult a Physician and get evaluated and an allergic test can be done for confirmation..

Hope this helps..

no blood test or xray just told me to.take benadryl
doctor
Answered by Dr. Honey Arora (3 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
He too suspected Allergic reaction.

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome back..

Well, Benadryl is an anti allergic medication and if it is advised to you then your doctor too suspected Allergic reaction..

So my suggestion is to consult him back or an Allergist and get an allergic test done to confirm whether it is allergic reaction or something else..

Was there any improvement after taking Benadryl, did the swelling reduce with Benadryl?

Please write back..
