Question: Hi, can prednisone be taken with clindamycin hcl ?

Prednisolone in lower doses can be used with clindamycin. However if there is a severe or fulminating infection then steroids are not used in high doses as these can cause suppression of immunity.
It is best to take the tablets at least 30 minutes apart for best absorption. Do not take prednisolone on an empty stomach as it can cause gastric acidity.

Hello.
For the leg ulcer to heal earlier you need to get your blood glucose levels evaluated and avoid infection in the area at all costs. Keep the wound covered with dressing. Doing a hot fomentation in the area will also help. You can keep your leg elevated on two pillows while resting to reduce the swelling. Taking a healthy diet with multivitamin and multimineral supplements will also help in healing.
