Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query very carefully and understood your concerns.

You can use carvedilol 25 mg as a substitute for losartan. To start using Carvedilol you should stoç taking metoprolol to. Since this may have unwanted side effects you should discuss with your doctor.

With such a case at my clinic we should prefer to start with one quarter of pill in the day divided in the morning and in the evening.

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!

Thank you for your help. Since I have been taking the combination of Losartan and Motoprolol and have run out of Losartan, can I take the carvedilol and the metoprolol together just for a day or two until I get my Losartan, it's very important I understand whether I can or not.
Thank you!

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

No you can't take together metoprolol and carvedilol because they are both betablockers and severe interactions with hypotension and cardiac blocks may occur.

Hope this will be of help!
