Brief Answer:
continue the treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome,

Please continue melfen and calvepen. It can take a couple of days for the effect of the antibiotic to kick in.

Along with the drugs he should follow some general measures ..
1) Warm salt water gargling 5 times daily.
2) Plenty of warm fluids.
3) Plenty of rest.
4) Avoid air conditioning and fan and cold foods.
5) Nutritious food.

Feel free to follow up,
Dr Rajkishori Godhi. (MS ENT)
