Thanks for writing to HCM

Dissection of artery means there is tear in the wall of artery and there may be extravasation of blood in the wall of artery or there may be rupture of arterial wall due to weakness.
It may cause ischemia and necrosis of distal organs because of disrupted blood supply through the artery.
