87 Years. Swelling In Legs. Have Chronic Venous Insufficiency, Congestive Heart Failure, Hypertension. Fluid Retention Or Blood Pooling?

I am 87 years old. I have chronic venous insufficency, Congestive Heart failure;encounter for long term use of anticoagulants; Hypertension. My legs are swelling in a most disgusting way. It must be either fluid retention or blood poling. I don't hurt and I may keep living for years. What kind of doctor should I see? Is there \some kind of "do it myself thing at home" that might be helpfu?

hello thanks for the query
swelling in the legs can have multiple reasons like congestive heart failure, renal failure, liver impairment, venous insufficiency, hypoproteinemia, etc

what medication are you on for chf(diuretics, digoxin, anti hypertensives)
do you have facial puffiness(early morning suggest renal problem)..
abdomen distension (liver and rt heart failure),,
shortness of breath on exertion or difficulty breathing in lying down(orthopnoea),nights dysnoea(chf)..
i suggest you to consult a doctor ,get examined ,and investigated properly

bye take care
