Volume Loss In Bottom Part Of Brain

Hi I have a son with CDG type 1A he walks and talks and even runs. The concern I have is he has volume loss in bottom part of his brain and brain stem. What should i be ready for?? We are from columbus ohio and see a genetics Dr. but i just need more answers i have so many questions!!!! thank you for your time Angel Webber

Thanks for query,
it is congenital metabolic disease.
There may be ataxia,hypotonia,low IQ,stroke like episode.
Go for more calories intake.
manage the symptoms according to the organs involved.
Go for physiotherapy.
Avoid medicines which affect liver or metabolized in liver.
