Yellowish Color While Wiping Anus. Had Surgery Due To Anal Fistula. Given Suppository, Painkillers. Suggestions?

Hi i just had surgery due to anal fistula. I went for dressing for a month. The surgeon told me that i do not have to for dressing because the wound is superficial. I also have internal and external hemorrhoids. Everytime i wipe my anus there is yellowish color on the tissue paper. I am now given suppository and pain killer. my email address is YYYY@YYYY

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

As you have had anus surgery recently, yellow thing on the toilet paper is most likely excretion from the wound (can be a pus or serous fluid). It is quite common for wounds in this area as it have permanent contact with stool and bacteria. You need to be patient to heal this wound. You should do everything to prevent constipation and hard stool, have sitz baths with Quercus Cortex, wash your rectum after every stool.
