The panic attacks themselves aren't going to cause a heart attack. As long as you've had panic disorder i'd talk to your doctor about medication. Yoga would be great for a stress relief though. Good Luck.

Hi Sir, Through out the internet i have been reading about cardiac arrest and heart attacks....I want to know are both the same or two different things. Plus my grandfather died a few years back when he was on a trip and none of our family memebers were around him, so only with the aftermaths we realized he had a heart attack, we wr informed by the doctors that he had a Massive heart attack . Also he had some internal bleeding in his brain acompanied with blood from his mouth, nose and ears. though he had no habits of drinking neither was he under any medical supervision or drugs, infact he used to practise yoga every morning and had been fit till his last. So if anyone could tell me what exactly happened to him would be highly useful to me and my family...and would have triggered the heart attack...

I have been having heart palpitations at night for the past 2 weeks that wake me up out of my sleep. For the past 2 weeks I have been living on no sleep because of this and it is miserable. I have had anxiety issues in the past, but I really feel as though this is different. When sleeping I kind of feel like I "forget to breathe" and get a heart palpitation just when I'm about to doze off. I had heart palpitations 2 years ago and went to a cardiologist in which the doctor did many tests and found nothing abnormal. I have competed in athletics my entire life and am a seemingly healthy 23 year old female.
For the past few days I have had heart palpatations, sore arm, chest pain, and pains in my legs alongside numbness in my arm. Is this just an anxiety attack? I had a hemotoma in my leg and was petrified they were linked, but each time I showed the doctors they didn't seem to think this was a possibility. I just need reassurance that it is only anxiety.
I have a heart condtion called svt..for some reason these past few days I have been getting palaptions more than norm..it gets my mind worried that I am dying n I end up having a panic attack. They do away but I get them atleast 3 to 5 times a day..should I be worried or is it just anxiety
