Dear Doctor,
I have two uterus fibroid one fundel measuring 53x31 mm and the other is small interstitial measuring 23x20 mm.
I am 38 years old never been married before & have no children. i am over weight by 12 kilos & i would like to apply HCG diet drops. Is it risky that HCG may enlarge such fibroids specially the interstitial one?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The fibroids in the uterus develop and progress under the influence of estrogens.
Estrogens are responsible for growth and development of the fibroids.
HCG is human chorionic gonadotrophin secreted by trophoblastic tissue or the placental tissue.
HCG does not increase or decrease the effect of estrogens so it is not associated with the growth or development of estrogens.

Thanks and take care
