Hi,

The combination of digoxin, diuretics like furosemide and ACE inhibitors like lisinopril is used to treat congestive heart failure. Lopressor is also used in the treatment of congestive heart failure. So, it appears that the person you have described is suffering from congestive heart failure. Congestive heart failure occurs when the heart is unable to provide sufficient pump action to maintain blood flow to meet the needs of the body. Common causes of heart failure include myocardial infarction and other forms of ischemic heart disease, hypertension, valvular heart disease, and cardiomyopathy. On the basis of this, I can say that the person you have described is already suffering from cardiovascular disease.

Best wishes.
