Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Yes Vit E capsules are known to reduce leg pain. Along with it, alpha-lipoic acid is known to help peripheral neuropathy due to diabetes.
2. It seems your doctor is suspecting atherosclerosis of the lower limbs. Get a arterial Doppler done to rule out peripheral arterial disease.
3. Take Vit E along with other medications. It has been proved to be helpful and can slow the progression of peripheral neuropathy.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
