Will Methyprednisolone Help For Swollen And Itchy Face Due To Some Allergy ?

Hi
for about a month now I wake up with my face swollen some what itchy and feels warm. Also it feels like pressure on my face... i went 2 dr and they prescribed me methyprednisolone they said I had some type of allergic reaction to something. I finished the medication but I still have the same problem. It didn't get any better

Other causes of face swelling noticed after waking up include angioedema,
