Why Would Someone Feel Pain In Their Left Arm And Jaw When Having A Heart Attack ?

Why would someone feel pain in their left arm and jaw when having a heart attack ? Are there certain nerves that are the same as heart nerves that go to yuor arm and jaw ?

Hi.. Heart is supplied by a sympathetic nerves.. These sympthetic nerves are controlled by sympathetic gangion ( Dorsal thoracic ganglia 1 to 4) which also controls the  nerves arising from the neck, left arm.. Because of this crosslinking during a heart attack these ganglia perceive the pain as a pain arising from the neck and left arm.. This is the basis of any referred pain..
