I believe I'd had a yeast infection but I have not had a thick discharge, only some soreness, itching and redness. I used monistat 1 a few days ago and the itching has lightened and the soreness has gone away but it's still red around the vagina and on the inner labia. Yesterday and today I've noticed that the skin on the inner labia and around/on the cliterous is peeling. Could this be an allergic reaction to the monistat and the itch relief cream or should I be worried that it could be an std?
