What Causes Burning Sensation In Vagina After Sex?

Vagina burns after sex.. After my boyfriend and I have sex, my vagina burns to the point that I am crying. I ve tried sitting in a warm bath, meds and even a cold wet wash cloth on it to help the pain... BUT nothing is helping. I ve read online that I could be pregnant, have a yeast infection or a uti...HELP!!!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The burning after sex indicates possible trichomonal infection in your partner. You can apply Candid vaginal creme. It would be relieved in few hours. After this oral medication (Fluconazole) needs to be given to both sex partners along with local cream / vaginal pessary as per need. Please consult a gynecologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
