Hello,

You have not got your periods, you are afraid you may get pregnant. You are suggested to wait for a couple of days, if you still do not get your periods then get a test done. Get a pregnancy test done with the first morning mid-stream urine. Get a per vaginal examination done also to detect bulky uterus if pregnant. Your treating gynecologist, may order to get a few required blood tests and USG done to study the well being of the fetus and its gestational age.

USG of the Uterus and the fallopian tube will help to detect ectopic pregnancy. You will be accordingly given treatment and managed. Stay away from addictions if any, Take home made food and avoid doing any heavy work. In case you are not pregnant, then it can be other medical conditions like anemia, poor general health condition, PID, PCOS, thyroid dysfunction, hormonal problems, etc. It will be treated accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

In case you are breastfeeding exclusively, may be you are in lactational amenorrhea with no chance of pregnancy. Periods here would be absent, irregular with either scanty or profuse bleeding. Pregnancy test would be reliable after 8 days delay in periods. So repeat it after 8 days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
