Hello,

As the history mentioned about heartburn and tightness in the chest at age 40 I do not want to panic you with anything unusual. This might be acidity but still on a safer side taking an ECG or ECHO should be on a precaution basis to rule out the cardiac pathology. The only reason to mention this is because you mentioned about ankle swelling. ankle swelling occurs due to lack of venous return and this only happens when there is weakness of the cardiac muscle to pump out the excess metabolic waste. It might not be the case as well but an assessment of the same can make us tension free.

Taking to bowel and constipation I will tell you that this may even lead trouble for the venous return and one needs to get rid of it. Having castor oil or having any acidity medication should help ease of the system.

As you mentioned the symptoms I feel you are entering the 40th year and menopause can be anywhere close by. Having a lack of bone mineralisation is also common.

Doing some regular blood and urine routine should be of great help. Also, try doing regular slow weight-bearing exercise and this should help to manage the metabolic functions to stay optimum.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
