Why Is Pan Tablet Advised To Be Taken Before Breakfast?
Doctors had advised my dad to take pan 20mg before breakfast ,
please let me know the reason why it should be taken breakfast, he was suffering from constipation for few weeks is it because of that or is there any other specific reason for that,
he was treated for pneumonia for a couple of weeks in a hospital & thats when he started having trouble with bowel movements. please let me know doctor will this help him in any way.

Pantoprazole is given once a day. It can be given before breakfast or before dinner. Your dad probably has more acidity in the early morning so your doctor has given it before breakfast.
I do not think constipation is related to Pantoprazole.
You can give him a mild laxative for that--regards
