Why Having Stabbing Pain Under Ribs While Deep Breathing Or Burping?

Hi, I had a horrible flu..... coughing.... then developed this stabbing pain under the ribs on the right side. It doesn't hurt to press on them, but to breathe deep, or burp it is intense. It doesn't hurt to cough... just sudden unexpected movements... Then at night I can't lay on my right side at all.... just the left and it all has to settle slowly.

This is due to spasm of cough having pull of inter costal muscle. You can do blood haemogram Take analgesic tab and warm compression.Slowly pain will subside.
