Why Do I Have Red Itchy Dots On Body After Fever?

Hi. I m a 37yr old woman, 5 7, 117lbs. I had a fairly high fever for 2.5 days, night sweats, horrible body aches and chills.... the fever is gone but a rash had started on day 2. just on my legs - looked like goosebumps with a white halo around them. now they ve spread, even though the fever is gone and are more like red dots. legs, stomach, back, hands.... it s only itchy in sensitive areas, like my ankles. I m hoping it s related to the illness and will go away soon? i feel like this happened once before, but not this bad.....
