Why Do I Have Pain In My Ear, Up To My Head Along With Tenderness In Scalp And Head?

I have had a pain that started in my left ear, shooting pain and it travels on the same side of my head. I went to centra care and no ear infection or sore throat. It does seem that my lymph node on the left is swollen and sensitive when I swallow. Also some pain when I chew at times. It has been 1 week and it is better, but not gone. I can feel tension in my neck on that side as well and my scalp is tender. I tend to panic and that is why I am at work typing this to you right now.

I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
If that is so then you may get it examined again by another ENT doctor who can recheck the findings. Irrespective of the findings you may still take an antibiotic course of either cefexime or amoxycilline etc .
