Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Sharp & localized pain occurring occassionally and during specific movements suggests a strain of the soft tissues either ligaments or tendons when they are subjected to stretch.
There is absolutely nothing to worry about this as this is considered as Physiological. Local ice packing and a pain killer gel application will suffice. Physiotherapy in the form of stretching and strengthening will help in resolving your symptoms.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
