Why Montair FX Taken Empty Stomach ?

I had blocked nose and severe head ache due to the same for the past 10 days,so have been asked by ENT specialist to have Montair- FX OD in the morning (emoty stomach).Just wanted to know whether why this medicine needs to be taken empty stomach as sometimes I feel heavyness in the stomach after having the medicine.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Montair-FX contain montelukast and fexofenidine combination used for allergic rhinitis. It should be taken preferably with empty stomach. when taken with empty stomach it there is increase bio availability and more amount of drug concentration can be achieved. Otherwise it can be taken with meal also. Heaviness in stomach, dyspepsia and abdominal pain is common side effect of montair FX. So don't worry about that.
