Which Specialist Should Be Consulted For Vascular Correlated Foot Swelling And Pain?

Foot swelling and in great pain. Doctor said slight fracture, complete bed rest. 4 weeks later no fracture, swelling has gone down but now thinks vascular problem. What type of Dr. do I go to for that? Heart? Vascular? What would be the difference?

hello
I will advise you to consult vascular surgeon and take his opinion.
If vascular surgeon is not available at present, contact local physician and take his opinion.
I will advise you to take rest, foot end elevation while lying down, while walking wear elastic stockings which will decrease the pain and swelling.
I think you understood, take care and get well soon.
